Dismantle the largest darknet drug market in the world operating with Monero (XMR)
On June 16, international police coordinated to dismantle the Archetyp Market black market – one of the oldest and largest crime platforms on the darknet. The main suspect, a 30-year-old German citizen, was arrested in Barcelona on June 11.
This website specializes in large-scale drug trafficking, exclusively transacting in Monero (XMR), with estimated revenue of over 250 million euros and more than 612,000 user accounts.
The police seized more than 8.3 million USD in assets, servers in the Netherlands, along with dozens of electronic devices and drugs in several European countries.
