Two Solana core developers have released the SIMD-0257 proposal aimed at enhancing network security and increasing validators' participation
Solana core developers Max Resnick and Ashwin Sekar proposed the SIMD-0257 proposal, aiming to remove the voting fees of the Solana network, optimize the incentive mechanism, improve network security, and increase the participation of validators. The proposal mainly addresses the issue of validators' behavior modification and has not yet reached the voting stage. Max was a researcher at Ethereum and is now a member of the Anza team, a core development company for Solana.
