In the Crypto Assets market, the simplest trading methods often turn out to be the most effective, but unfortunately, the vast majority of investors find it difficult to adhere to these basic principles.
In recent years, I have witnessed too many investors exit the market and suffer significant losses. The issue is not that they lack talent, but that they repeatedly fall into three key traps:
First, there is the psychology of chasing high prices. When prices rise, investors are often driven by greed, believing "this time it will fly," only to see prices immediately drop after buying. In contrast, during true panic selling moments, almost no one dares to enter the market. Only those who have developed the habit of buying during downturns can truly enjoy the profits brought by market cycles.
Secondly, there is the risk of over-leveraging. Many people mistakenly believe that if they judge the direction correctly, they can take large positions, but the market leaders only need to create some fluctuations to force these investors out.
The third is the impulse for full position trading. When emotions run high and everything is invested, even if the trend judgment is correct, the ability to flexibly adjust the position is lost, and one can only watch better opportunities slip away.
The harshest reality of the crypto market is that most people's failures are not due to market trends, but rather their own bad habits.
I have summarized a simple yet often overlooked six principles of short-term trading:
1. When the high-level consolidation is not completed, the price often creates new highs; when the low-level sideways movement is not stabilized, it usually continues to drop. It is best to remain on the sidelines before a trend change.
2. It is best not to participate when the market is in a sideways consolidation. Most investors exhaust their patience during such volatile market conditions.
3. Buy when the daily line closes in the red and sell when it closes in the green. Trading strategies that align with market sentiment are often more reliable than subjective judgments.
4. The rebound strength of a slowly declining market is usually weak; while a strong rebound often follows a rapid decline. Understanding the market rhythm is crucial for seizing opportunities.
5. Adopt a pyramid-style position-building strategy, enter the market in batches, and always keep some funds to deal with unexpected situations.
6. After significant volatility, the market will inevitably consolidate, and after the consolidation ends, there will be a choice of direction. Avoid going all in at high points, and do not buy heavily at low points; wait for clear signals before making decisions.
The market is never short of opportunities; what is lacking are investors who can remain calm, patiently wait, and survive for the long term.
Mastering these basic principles will allow the path of Crypto Assets investment to become broader.
Many people believe that successful traders are just lucky, but in reality, it is because they firmly implement these seemingly simple yet effective strategies.
