According to the latest report from Immunefi, the encryption industry lost $73.9 million due to Hacker attacks in January 2025, involving 19 security incidents, a 9-fold rise compared to the previous month. However, it decreased by 44.6% compared to the $133 million loss in January 2024. Among them, the centralized exchange Phemex in Singapore suffered a loss of $69.1 million due to hacking, and the DeFi options platform Moby Trade lost $2.5 million due to a vulnerability attack. In addition, several projects such as Orange Finance, UniLend Finance, The Idols NFT have also been attacked to varying degrees. In terms of on-chain losses, BNB Chain has become the most targeted network, accounting for 50% of the total losses, while Ethereum accounts for 25%.
