Jin10 data June 23 news, Canalys latest research shows that in the first quarter of 2025, India's PC (excluding tablets) dump volume will rise by 13% year-on-year, reaching 3.3 million units. Among them, the notebook dump volume will rise by 21%, reaching 2.4 million units, becoming the market maker of growth; while the desktop dump volume will decline by 3% year-on-year, to 906,000 units. The popularity of hybrid working and the demand for productivity tools from consumers and businesses make notebooks still the core driving force of India's digitalization process. In contrast, India's tablet dump volume has significantly declined by 24% year-on-year, only amounting to 1 million units. It is expected that in 2025, the entire Indian PC market will rise by 6%, with dump volume exceeding 15 million units; while the tablet market will shrink by 8%.
