Golden Finance reported that Yat Siu, co-founder of Animoca Brands, revealed in a TED talk that the rise of the open Metaverse has exceeded common understanding. According to Siu, the Metaverse has generated over 30 billion dollars of economic activity, close to the fiscal reserves of New Zealand and surpassing the GDP of more than 100 countries including Cyprus and Iceland.
