On September 11, Jinshi Data reported that a senior Israeli official said that Israel proposed to let Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar leave Gaza safely in exchange for the organization's release of hostages and giving up control of the Gaza Strip. 'I am ready to provide a safe passage for Sinwar, his family, and anyone who wants to join him,' said Israeli hostage envoy Gal Hirsch on Tuesday. 'We want to get back the hostages. We hope to achieve non-militarization, and of course, we need to de-radicalize and establish a new system to manage Gaza.' Hirsch said that he proposed the safe passage plan a day and a half ago but refused to disclose the reaction so far. He reiterated that as part of any protocol, Israel is also willing to release its imprisoned prisoners.
