Jinshi data, December 13 news, the European Central Bank stated that on December 5, 2024, the Governing Council approved changes to the release of monetary policy portfolio data under the emergency anti-epidemic bond purchase plan (PEPP) as the time for reinvestment under the emergency anti-epidemic bond purchase plan (PEPP) is approaching the end of 2024, the euro area will not purchase bonds for the first time since 2014 under the asset purchase plan or the emergency anti-epidemic bond purchase plan (PEPP). Foreseeable changes will ensure that the transparency level of the data provided in the future remains appropriate. It is reported that the emergency anti-epidemic bond purchase plan (PEPP) data will be released monthly instead of every two months to match the equivalent asset purchase plan data series, and historical monthly data series since the launch of the plan will be published. The release schedule of the emergency anti-epidemic bond purchase plan (PEPP) and the asset purchase plan will be further aligned, including the publication of retrospective and prospective redemption data for PEPP. The changes will take effect from January 8, 2025.
