Vitalik Buterin calls for ETH Ethereum core developers to prioritize key upgrades such as 'Blob expansion' optimization

PANews reported on January 8 that Vitalik Buterin, the founder of Ethereum, stated in a tweet that the prioritization of core development of Ethereum needs to be improved. He pointed out that if he had to choose between 'raising the Blob target from 3 to 6' and 'other improvements in Pectra', he would prioritize the former. This indicates that data availability scaling (Blob) is what he considers to be the top priority task. At the same time, he mentioned the priority suggestions for projects such as Fusaka and G*, believing that 'Blob expansion' is still key, but also mentioning the importance of L1 layer EVM (ETH Ethereum Virtual Machine) improvement. He specifically mentioned the complete account abstraction (AA) from EOF to 7701, SIMD+EVMMAX optimization, and the focus on moderately increasing Gas limits. Vitalik also stated that he is exploring 'peerdas' and suggested trying a more ambitious version to further drive ETH technology innovation and optimization.
