Golden Finance reported that Cardano has released the roadmap for 2025, which reveals that Cardano may plan to become the smart Contract Layer of BTC, integrating the two networks to unlock new functionality and Liquidity. In addition, the 2025 plan also includes evaluating the merged Mining and enabling BTC users to interact with Defi on Cardano. According to Cardano, the network hopes to enter the threshold by 2030 through drop, while maintaining decentralization, scalability, and security to support billions of users, consolidating multiple transactions into a single batch for verification, reducing network load, and retaining security.
