Consumer confidence in Turkey improved in March, but the outlook remains pessimistic.

On March 21, Jin Ten Data reported that a consumer trend survey in Turkey shows that consumer confidence in Turkey further improved in March, reaching its highest level in nearly two years. The consumer confidence index rose from 82.1 in February to 85.9 in March. This is the highest level since May 2023, when the index was 91.1. Nevertheless, an index below 100 indicates a pessimistic outlook.
