The Monetary Authority of Singapore announced that it will promote trusted tokenization as a common Settlement asset to reduce Settlement risks and market fragmentation. The SGD Testnet will be open to the first batch of eligible Financial Institutions, including DBS Bank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, and UOB, with use cases including payments and securities Settlement.
