The first Layer 2 solution for Solana, Solaxy, was launched on Uniswap, raising $58 million in a presale.

According to Gate news and Bitcoinist, Solana's first Layer 2 solution, Solaxy, was publicly launched on Uniswap and raised $58 million in its presale. Although it experienced a slight fall immediately after listing, possibly due to the bearish sentiment across the market, the number of Token holders increased from around 3,000 to about 5,000 in just a few hours.

Even more impressive is the growth in token trading volume, indicating that despite short-term noise, investors are still actively intervening and strongly supporting its potential. Meanwhile, the project's Layer 2 architecture currently running on the testnet has also garnered widespread attention from developers and users ahead of the mainnet launch in July.

Bitcoinist points out that Solaxy is one of the best-performing presale products of 2025, with experts expecting this performance to continue with its listing on exchanges. Solaxy's presale has raised nearly $60 million amid market fluctuations.

The strong interest from whales is a key factor in the development momentum of Solaxy. Before the presale ended, investments amounting to hundreds of thousands of dollars continued to increase. Among them, the last three whale wallets purchased over $250,000 worth of SOLX.

Even though the project is now listed on Uniswap, the activity among investors remains high, and the continuous growth in the number of holders is clear evidence of this. This means that investors are focused on the long-term potential of SOLX rather than short-term price trends.

Solaxy is preparing to become a key participant in the Solana ecosystem by introducing a battle-tested Layer 2 aggregation architecture that can enhance Solana's throughput, improve network efficiency, and provide low-cost transactions even under peak traffic conditions.

Although Solana is one of the most popular centers for memecoins, it is plagued by technical bottlenecks, including frequent speed drops, congestion, and network interruptions. Despite continuous upgrades to the network, these issues persist. For example, earlier this year, during the launch of the TRUMP and MELANIA memecoins, investors faced severe network congestion, leading to increased fees and transaction failures.

Moreover, due to the lack of signs of cooling in the meme coin craze in the short term, the demand for reliable solutions that can significantly increase throughput and ensure security is more urgent than ever.

This is why Solaxy is welcomed by developers, users, and investors alike. Solaxy's Layer 2 chain batches SOL transactions for off-chain processing, with final settlement occurring on the Solana mainnet. This innovative approach will achieve zero downtime, ultra-high throughput, and low-latency transactions, enabling developers to fully leverage the upcoming meme coin supercycle.

Similarly, Solaxy's technology has interoperability, opening a new era of cross-chain activities between Ethereum and Solana. Solaxy plans to launch its mainnet in July while announcing the upcoming release of two major products: Igniter Protocol and Neptoon.

Igniter Protocol will allow users to launch their own meme coin with just a few clicks, potentially becoming a major competitor to PumpFun, while Neptune will serve as the decentralized exchange for Solaxy, solidifying its market position as a new hub for meme coin trading.

As the market's anticipation for the upcoming mainnet continues to grow, experts believe that Solaxy has no reason not to achieve the success of other Layer 2 projects such as Stacks, Arbitrum, and Optimism.
