Trump: Interest rates should be lowered to 1%, Powell and his committee cannot escape blame.

On July 1, U.S. President Trump stated on social media: Powell and his whole committee should feel ashamed for allowing such things to happen in America. Their job is one of the easiest yet most prestigious jobs in the U.S., but they have failed and continue to fail. If they did their jobs properly, our country could save trillions of dollars in Interest costs. The committee just sits there with their arms crossed, and they are equally to blame.
