On July 2, according to market data, influenced by the news of the merger of its controlling subsidiary, US stock Hut 8 Corp (HUT) rose by 12.47%, now priced at $20.78. BlockBeats previously reported that American Bitcoin Corp. and Gryphon Digital Mining jointly announced on July 1, 2025, that they have submitted an amended S-4 registration statement to the SEC (SEC) to advance the previously announced stock exchange merger transaction. American Bitcoin is a subsidiary of Hut 8, with supporters including Eric Trump, son of Donald Trump. The company focuses on industrial-scale Bitcoin mining and strategic Bitcoin reserve development.
