Overview of Sui Liquid Staking Hackathon Finalist Projects

After more than 40 days of fierce competition and careful selection, the shortlist for the Sui liquid staking Hackathon has finally been announced. A total of 12 teams have successfully advanced to the Hackathon's Demo Day, coming from two tracks, with 6 teams in each track. Let's take a look at these outstanding projects.

Introduction to Selected Projects

1. Aftermath Finance A comprehensive decentralized trading platform based on Sui Move, providing spot, perpetual contract, and options trading, as well as CMMM functionality for long-tail assets and indices.

2. DegenHive An innovative project that combines centralized liquidity DEX with NFT governance models, aiming to fully leverage the potential of $SUI.

3. Haedal Protocol Allow users to stake $SUI to obtain haSUI through the liquid staking protocol, supporting users to participate in ecological governance and earn additional DeFi rewards.

4. Interest Protocol DeFi protocols that support swapping and lending, helping liquidity providers hedge against impermanent loss risks through innovative mechanisms.

5. SUISA The DeFi protocol that provides $SUI stake services allows users to receive stSUI as a reward, which can be used to mint NFTs.

6. Volo Focusing on improving the utility and liquidity of SUI through staking solutions, implemented via the voloSUI token.

2. Bucket Protocol The CDP protocol on the Sui network has non-custodial, immutable, and governance-free characteristics, supporting multiple assets as collateral.

3. Desig Provide a multi-signature solution compatible with the entire blockchain ecosystem, suitable for various blockchain environments.

4. Kana Labs A user-friendly application platform for DeFi and GameFi.

5. Legato Provide fixed interest rate solutions for liquid staking assets and predict annual interest rate fluctuations on Sui.

6. Wisp Swap A decentralized trading and prediction market platform based on Sui, utilizing an innovative automatic parameter adjustment mechanism.

Demo Day Details

• Process:
  • Each team has 10 minutes (5 minutes for presentation + 5 minutes for Q&A)
  • Sponsor Showcase: including Alibaba Cloud, MoveBit, and OtterSec

Review Mechanism

• The jury is selected by the Sui Foundation and partners from ecological partners, sponsors, and well-known projects.
• Use a standardized scoring system to calculate the average score after removing the highest and lowest scores.
• The final results will be announced on October 2.

This hackathon received strong support from the Sui Foundation and several well-known institutions, showcasing the Sui ecosystem's emphasis on and anticipation for innovative projects.
