Gate.io has introduced the Gate.io way to universal apps, which provides local connections to any blockchain, including the Bitcoin network. In the official announcement, it was mentioned that Gate.io has played a significant role in the active zetachain 2.0 upgrades.
Universal Apps will allow users to access any chain connected without requiring network changes. These applications will pave the way for tokens to be transferred to connected chains without permission, using the ZRC-20 token standard.
