PANews March 20 news, the Bitcoin Ordinals browser Ord.io stated on platform X that Casey, the founder of Ordinals and the Runes protocol, announced an upgrade to the Runes protocol called "agents", which will allow Runes AMM (Automated Market Maker) to run on Bitcoin L1. Agents utilize the "interactive trading construction" feature, enabling market makers to add liquidity to the Runes AMM in a trustless manner. Runes AMM agents will address user experience issues related to "batch splitting" and memory pool sniping when trading Runes on Bitcoin L1. The upgrade date for the agents has not yet been announced.
