Babylon announced that it will distribute 6% of the total supply of the BABY token, which is 10 billion, as an airdrop of (600 million BABY) to early participants.

Blockchain project Babylon has announced the tokenomics of its native token BABY and airdrop details for early adopters. With a total supply of 10 billion, 6% of the BABY token will be distributed to early participants BABY( )600 million. This airdrop program includes groups such as Bitcoin (BTC) stakers, Pioneer Pass NFT holders, and open-source developers.

Led by the Babylon Foundation, which has raised $70 million in a Paradigm-led round, the program will be run through Cuneiform Assets. Users who qualified for the airdrop had to register by March 25, 2025. Tokens will be sent directly to beneficiaries, there will be no additional claim process.

Babylon airdrop categories

The airdrop program announced by Babylon is divided into five main categories:

• Stake Participation Airdrop (30M BABY): In Phase 1, users who stake BTC will receive rewards ranging from 100 to 550 BABY based on the amount they stake.
• Basic Staking Reward Airdrop (335M BABY): Phase 1 stakers and delegation providers will receive a share of the reward distributed according to staking durations.
• Bonus Staking Reward (200M BABY): On March 31, 2025, additional rewards will be given to active stakers. However, users need to switch to Phase 2 and continue staking for at least 100 days.
• Pioneer Pass NFT Holders (30M BABY): Valid NFT holders as of February 24, 2025 at the time of receipt of the snapshot will receive 300 BABY per NFT**.
• GitHub Developer Program (5M BABY): Developers contributing to open source projects will be rewarded based on the amount of code they commit.

Airdrop control and future distributions

Users can check their airdrop allocations via Cuneiform Assets' airdrop control page or API. However, some beneficiaries may be required to sign the Airdrop Terms in order to receive their rewards. Also, stakers who switch to Phase 2 will get a second chance for the missed registration process.

Babylon also announced that it will organize a special airdrop program for social media contributors in the future. For users who support the project on social media between August 22, 2024 and February 19, 2025, details will be shared after the official launch of Babylon Genesis**.
