Beijing Releases Blockchain Innovation Application Development Action Plan

According to Wu, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, the Management Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park, and other departments have issued a notice on the "Beijing Blockchain Innovation Application Development Action Plan (2025-2027)". It requires that by 2027, the independent and controllable blockchain technology should further enhance the support capacity for the national digital infrastructure. Breakthrough results of more than 10 items should be formed in next-generation blockchain core technologies such as blockchain-specific chips, privacy protection, cross-chain interoperability, and distributed networking, including reliable storage at the byte level for nodes, reliable interconnection for tens of thousands of chains, and reliable mutual identification for hundreds of millions of trusted identities.
