Movement Labs postpones the MoveDrop Airdrop due to market anomalies and Sybil Attack impacts.
According to Mars Finance, Movement Labs announced that the originally scheduled MoveDrop Airdrop will be postponed due to reasons including abnormal market making mechanisms, the need for governance structure adjustments, and a serious Sybil Attack incident. The official statement claims that a portion of the abused Tokens has been successfully recovered, which will be reused for community and ecological incentives after the Airdrop concludes. Meanwhile, the foundation will promote governance mechanism reforms to prevent similar situations from occurring again. Despite the delay of the Airdrop, the DeFi Spring incentive activities will proceed as usual, and the project party has promised to announce a new Airdrop arrangement and apologize to users as soon as possible.
