Wu learned that Ethereum researcher jvranek has launched Signal-Boost, a plugin that allows L2 to read L1 data in real time without major modifications to the existing Rollup architecture, enabling L1-L2 synchronization operations. Combining Nethermind's "Same-Slot Message Passing" and Gwyneth's "Ultra Transactions" concepts, it does not require protocol changes within Ethereum; instead, it leverages existing technologies such as PBS pipeline and Commit-Boost to support atomic transactions between L1 and L2, enhancing user experience and reducing fragmentation in the Rollups ecosystem.
