Ripple has obtained regulatory approval in Dubai and announced a blockchain payment partnership with Zand Bank and Mamo.
According to Mars Finance news, Ripple announced today (May 19, 2025) that it has partnered with Zand Bank and Mamo in the UAE as the first institution to obtain a blockchain payment license from the Dubai Financial Services Authority ( DFSA ). This partnership will provide blockchain-driven cross-border payment solutions, enabling round-the-clock fund flow and reducing payment settlement time to just a few minutes, significantly improving the efficiency of financial transactions in the UAE. Zand Bank also plans to launch a stablecoin supported by AED to further promote the development of the digital economy.
