The leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin (BTC), reached a new ATH for the first time yesterday, surpassing its previous ATH after a challenging 4 months.
While Bitcoin continues to break records, it rose above 111,000 dollars in the morning hours.
It is stated that the increase in interest from institutional investors is behind the new record in BTC, and the continuation of the rally is expected.
At this point, Min Jung, an analyst at Presto Research, said that Bitcoin's recent surge to over $111,000 was largely driven by institutional accumulation, with major firms such as Strategy, Metaplanet, and Twenty One Capital*** making the biggest contribution.
Jung argued that this cycle is different from other bull cycles, stating that unlike previous bull runs dominated by retail speculation, this cycle is driven by long-term institutional capital.
Despite new records, Jung noted that the bull is still in its early stages, stating that the current upward trend is a sign of broader institutional adoption and he expects the rally to continue.
"The fact that Bitcoin surpasses $111,000 is primarily driven by the treasury accumulation of companies such as Strategy, Metaplanet, and Twenty One Capital.
Unlike previous bull runs, this rise seems to be fueled more by institutional and long-term capital rather than retail speculation.
Jung also added that they expect Bitcoin to reach 210,000 dollars by the end of 2025.
