According to a report by Cointelegraph on May 25, Deep Tide TechFlow announced that ARK Invest CEO Cathie Wood stated at the Solana Accelerate event held in New York on May 23 that although cryptocurrency wallets will become more widely adopted in the future, cryptocurrency ETFs will still hold a place in the market in the long term, as they provide users with a simpler way to participate. She said, "ETFs are an important transitional form. Compared to the complexity of wallet operations, many consumers just want to "push a button" to complete their investments." Wood emphasized that wallets will be more like an "insurance mechanism," while ETFs are suitable for users seeking convenience.

Wood also mentioned that the spot Ethereum ETF does not support staking functions, which has affected its market performance, and pointed out that Ethereum remains the preferred entry point for new users to understand the smart contract ecosystem, and may gradually shift towards chains like Solana in the future. Wood stated that her team is studying Solana's pricing model and will announce the findings once the research is completed.

She also pointed out that the event of Trump issuing the TRUMP memecoin on the Solana network may make some institutional investors cautious, "Such events may scare away some older investors."
