According to Deep Tide TechFlow news on May 27, CoinDesk reported that Kaweewut Temphuwapat, the new CEO of SCB10X, the venture capital arm of Thailand's important Financial Institution Siam Commercial Bank (SCB), stated that the Bank of Thailand may soon be able to hold Crypto Assets through a regulatory sandbox.

Temphuwapat pointed out that Thai regulators have an open attitude towards financial innovation, and the country has established a sound payment infrastructure. SCB10X, as an early investor in Ripple, has been using blockchain technology in its application for over 5 years. He expects that as the regulatory framework for crypto assets in the United States becomes clearer, it will drive more investment towards the Asian market. In addition, SCB10X will also focus on investment opportunities in the integration of artificial intelligence and crypto assets.
