Amazon will invest $10 billion to build data centers to expand its AI business.

According to Mars Finance, Amazon announced on Wednesday that it will invest $10 billion to build new data centers in North Carolina as part of its efforts to expand its artificial intelligence and cloud computing infrastructure. The company stated in a press release that this investment is expected to bolster new compute-intensive workloads and help enhance Amazon's ability to support businesses built using artificial intelligence. North Carolina Governor Josh Stein said, "Amazon's investment is one of the largest in the state's history and will bring hundreds of high-paying jobs and economic development to Richmond County."
