Abstract generation in progress

Ripple is expanding its operations in Japan with an initiative to support Web3 startups, in collaboration with Web3 Salon – a project backed by JETRO and the Asia Web3 Alliance Japan.

Through the Japan & Korea Fund, Ripple will provide grants of up to $200,000 for each project building real-world applications on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), such as DeFi, digital payments, and crypto assets. In addition to funding, startups will also be connected with a network of global investors, advisors, and technical experts. Web3 Salon will be responsible for training, regulatory compliance support, and business development for founders. By March 2026, four major events will be held across Japan to promote collaboration between startups, regulators, and businesses. This initiative reflects a strong effort to make Japan the Web3 hub of Asia.
