Hong Kong Cyberport has launched the "Web3 Pilot Subsidy Scheme", with the maximum funding amount for selected projects set at HKD 500,000.

Techub News reports that Hong Kong Cyberport has launched the "Blockchain and Web3 Pilot Subsidy Scheme", which provides financial support to blockchain and Web3 companies in their development stages, enabling them to create innovative and impactful solutions. The scheme encourages participating tech companies to collaborate with qualified project sponsors from various industries, creating opportunities to test and validate Blockchain and Web3.0 applications in real-world environments.

The application period is from June 18, 2025, to August 1, 2025. Each eligible entity can apply for support for up to 3 pilot projects. The program provides funding of up to 80% of the total project expenditure, with a maximum approved funding amount of HKD 500,000 for each project.

To qualify for funding under this program, applicants must meet all of the following conditions: registered in Hong Kong under the Business Registration Ordinance (Chapter 310) prior to submitting the application; have conducted business in Hong Kong prior to submitting the application: technology companies or research institutions engaged in substantial Blockchain and Web3 activities, belonging to the recognized categories of Blockchain and Web3 solutions, participants in Hong Kong's mature incubation programs, or new enterprises established by mature technology companies.
