When I was younger, my dream job was to be a substitute teacher - You get to walk into class, share whatever interesting topic you want, and carry zero responsibility for sticking to the syllabus. 😂

I guess being a regular guest lecturer is the closest I've come to achieving that childhood dream.

To be fair, I never prepare these lectures like they're actual lectures. I study stand-up comedies. I write my own skits (okay, maybe not that kind of substitute teacher skit from Key & Peele), and I put on a show.

Because when I was a student, I only remembered two types of lectures:

🤣 The funniest kind.
😪 And the most boring kind (but for all the wrong reasons).

And you don't even need to be a Dead Poets Society, Robin Williams-level of charming. You just need to be a bit funnier than the average university instructor.
