The largest retail investor trading platform in Switzerland faces increased security risks, and regulators are demanding enhanced controls.

Gate News bot message, Bloomberg reported that the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (Finma) has required Switzerland's largest retail investor trading platform, Swissquote, to strengthen its controls over suspicious activities. Data shows that in 2025, Swissquote is facing attacks from over 600 counterfeit websites, and the number of cyber fraud and hacker incidents on the platform has significantly increased.

Finma data shows that successful cyber attack incidents on financial institutions increased by 30% in 2025 compared to the previous year.
