Hong Kong brokers are getting on board, and the encryption world is welcoming the "regular army"!

With the relaxation of the financial regulatory environment in Hong Kong, more and more local brokerages are entering the virtual asset field, sparking an unprecedented "牌时代". Guotai Junan successfully completed the upgrade to License No. 1, with its stock price increasing nearly 4 times in less than a month, but it was not actually the first to pass. Previously, several brokerages had already supported virtual currency trading, and Futu had also obtained the upgrade to License No. 1 back in August 2024, supporting virtual asset trading services. Unfortunately, at the moment, the encryption trading of Hong Kong brokerages has not yet been opened to mainland users, and the scale is limited, making it unable to compete with encryption exchanges. Its advantages lie in safer assets and smoother fiat channels.

Currently, there are 5 brokerage platforms that offer virtual currency trading.
