Today I saw on Cointelegraph that $ETF has set a record for net inflows for 20 consecutive days, with total AUM surpassing 20 billion, while Bitcoin ETF has experienced a massive outflow of 812 million during the same period. The direction of market funds is clearly showing structural differentiation. This divergence indicates that the underlying investment logic is shifting from Bitcoin's single narrative as "digital gold" to a greater preference for Ether as a productive encryption asset, with its smart contracts ecosystem, practical applications and yield potential in areas like DeFi, Layer 2, and technological upgrades such as cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
After breaking records, the ETF experienced a single-day outflow of 152 million, which, along with the outflow of Bitcoin funds, exposed the market's sensitivity to macro risks, interest rate policies, and regulation. The current adjustment can be seen as a release of profit-taking and a temporary pullback in risk appetite.
I believe the key to future trends lies in three points. The first is whether Ethereum can realize its technical roadmap and solidify the "productive asset positioning" through ecological expansion.
