Lianchuang Wu Chen talks about 'Hong Kong KOLs may need to hold a license to work': The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission has yet to issue clear and specific guidelines on this.

It is reported that the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) is considering requiring Web3 KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) to obtain licenses in order to further regulate promotional activities related to virtual assets.

@TecHubNews confirmed this with EXII co-founder Wu Chen, who stated that she is aware of discussions in the market, but the regulatory details have not yet been clarified.

Wu Chen further pointed out that if the policy is implemented, its goal may be to reference the regulatory standards for similar stock analysts in the traditional financial industry, requiring Web3 KOLs to adhere to higher professional and disclosure requirements when making investment recommendations, in order to prevent disorderly promotion and misleading information in the virtual asset market, maintain market order, and protect the interests of investors.
