The Hong Kong Monetary Authority reminds to be vigilant against counterfeit stablecoin promotional materials.

According to Techub News, after the Hong Kong "stablecoin regulations" and the regulatory system for stablecoin issuers officially came into effect on August 1 this year, a promotional flyer bearing the logo of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) has recently circulated in the market, concerning the sale of stablecoins. The Monetary Authority has clarified that it has not issued any such promotional flyers and reminds the public to be vigilant, to distinguish between genuine and fake, and to avoid being deceived.
