Linea announced its roadmap for the upcoming September, launching Native Yield in Q4, and achieving Type-1 zkEVM in Q1 of next year.

According to Foresight News, Linea has released its latest roadmap, focusing on four main areas over the next 9 months: performance enhancement, Ethereum compatibility, trust minimization, and capital efficiency. Performance: By Q4 2025, throughput will increase to 0.5 gGas/s (approximately 5000 TPS), supporting transaction pre-confirmation (confirmation within 250 milliseconds); by Q1 2026, the cross-chain and CEX access time will be reduced to about 15 minutes; Ethereum alignment: In Q3, a burning mechanism will be launched (20% ETH transaction fees burned, 80% repurchased and destroyed LINEA), and by Q1 2026, Type-1 zkEVM will be implemented, fully compatible with Ethereum's storage structure, simplifying development integration. Trust minimization: By Q4, Stage-1 will be achieved, allowing users to trade and withdraw safely even during operator failures or censorship; in Q1 2026, a multi-proof system will be introduced to enhance security; Capital efficiency: In Q4, Native Yield will be launched, allowing ETH deposits to generate staking returns distributed to DeFi Liquidity Providers.
