Baidu revealed the progress of the combination of large models and search engines: support videos and charts to answer questions
According to the "Kechuangban Daily" report on June 30, Xiao Yang, vice president of Baidu Group and head of the search platform, revealed the new search functions of "Extreme Satisfaction" and "AI Partner" that Baidu is testing internally: when entering search terms, Baidu’s homepage can display multiple answer explanations, and also supports direct video answers to users’ questions, and allows videos to automatically locate key paragraphs; books can also be used to directly answer questions; Baidu search also relies on DBQA (document-level QA) technology, using Charts are used to reply in an intuitive way, and directly generate trends, histograms, and line charts. The "AI partner" is presented in a dialogue interface, which can answer, generate application copy, summarize documents, etc.
