There Are Big Unlocks In July: Which Altcoins Should Be Considered?
Approximately $150 million worth of locked tokens will be released in 6 altcoins this month.
Between July 3 and 31, approximately $150 million worth of locked tokens will be released in 6 different projects, including popular projects such as Optimism (OP), ApeCoin (APE) and Aptos (APT). The unlock event, which differs in percentage for each project, has the potential to create sales pressure in general.
In general, more than 1% of the circulating supply of tokens is released in unlocking, which has a distinctly negative impact on the price.
In this direction, the high rates to be opened in the coming weeks for ApeCoin, Optimism and dYdX are of great importance.
Here is the list of assets that will be released:
dYdX (DYDX): 6.5 million assets worth $13.9 million will be unlocked as of 06:00 CEST on July 4th. 0.65% of the total supply and 3.48% of the circulating supply will be freed.
Aptos (APT): 6.4 million assets worth $33.49 million will be unlocked on July 12 at 03:00 GMT. 0.45% of the total supply and 2.15% of the circulating supply will be freed.
ImmutableX (IMX): 18 million assets worth $14 million will be unlocked on July 15 at 13:00 CEST. 0.90% of the total supply and 1.73% of the circulating supply will be released.
ApeCoin (APE): 15.6 million assets worth $34.8 million will be unlocked as of July 17 at 03:00 CEST. 1.56% of the total supply and 4.23% of the circulating supply will be released.
Axie Infinity (AXS): 3.4 million assets worth $20.9 million will be unlocked as of July 22, 16:10 CEST. 1.27% of the total supply and 2.96% of the circulating supply will be released.
Optimism (OP): 24.1 million assets worth $32.1 million will be unlocked as of July 30 at 07:00 CEST. 0.56% of the total supply and 3.74% of the circulating supply will be released.
Even if there is sales pressure in key openings, it is not always the case. Especially in projects with low unlocking rates, rises can be seen.
