Ruiya: Learning to create with AIGC technology from scratch, what is the biggest difficulty and challenge for you?
He Jiani: The application of AI tools is relatively simple, but at present, the details of AI are still not easy to control, and you need to explore by yourself. Especially when using MJ or SD large models, because they are not specially designed for the clothing industry, many technical terms and other details have to be tuned by themselves.
Ruiya: When using AI painting tools for design and creation, are you more willing to express your creativity to AI and control the picture more accurately by adjusting the descriptors, or do you unconsciously rely on AI? What about the generated result?
He Jiani: I never rely on AI randomly generated results. If you rely on AI, you can use a function called blend, which can synthesize different pictures and bring you some unexpected results. But after understanding its laws, I basically want what I want, and AI basically comes out like this.
Ruiya: Do you have any plans or goals in the future that you hope to achieve in your future creations?
He Jiani: I am now studying the purpose of AI, and I also want to make an AI brand of clothing. This can reduce a lot of personnel expenses and time costs for the company.
He Jiani: It can greatly reduce the artist's creative time. Just because it takes a long time to design doesn't mean the design is perfect. On the contrary, after the work efficiency is improved through AI tools, the works produced may also be better than those hand-painted by yourself.
Ruiya: What do you think is the difference between AI painting and traditional painting or design? Will there be some connection between them?
He Jiani: Of course there will be, and it will be related if we switch from traditional design to AI. But there are also many differences. First of all, there is a difference in thinking, that is, AI design first seems to be more scientific, that is, more rational. This may make many designers feel less, so the advice I give to designers is to find inspiration, let go of these things and get insights in life.
He Jiani: First of all, we must always have a point of view, AI is just a tool for us. Beginners must first explore the tool, and they can try and explore the rules of the tool as much as possible.
Back to the designer itself, we must have our own aesthetics. The pictures we feed are all carefully selected and in line with our own aesthetics. Only the pictures produced by AI can reflect the look in your mind .
The second point is that when we describe a scene or a thing, we must describe it in as much detail as possible, and we must have our own ideas. Your basic skills must be passed first, and then the AI may help you.
Ruiya: Everyone knows AI tools, how can I stand out as a top-notch person in it?
He Jiani: Everyone knows AI tools, and it must be a common phenomenon in the future. So we have to be mentally prepared now. Then how we stand out is actually our own brain. For example, how our clothes are designed, how its colors are matched, what the pictures we feed him look like, and how to choose this picture, all these are very important. For designers, the aesthetic concept is really important. Senior designers will still return to brain construction, overall control, and overall grasp.
He Jiani: Art is like a spiritual building, it is at the top. But business is that it is going to land after all. Artists need to know more about business in order to understand everyone's pain points and needs. And business needs to allow artists more space to develop, understand and understand art more, so as to bring business to a new height.
Ruiya: What is your opinion on the future development direction of AIGC art, or do you have any predictions for the future?
He Jiani: This application will become more and more widespread. The Miaoya camera, which became popular a few days ago, can already see the trend of knocking down the hippocampus. In addition, the application of AI to performance clothing, Hanfu, and new Chinese-style clothing should be of great help, because the design and production costs of these clothes are much higher than ordinary clothing.
