Nvidia announced the launch of a new generation of AI processors and reached a cooperation with Hugging Face

According to a report by the Financial Associated Press on August 9, Nvidia announced the launch of an updated artificial intelligence (AI) processor to enhance chip capacity and speed, thereby strengthening the company's dominant position in this emerging market. Nvidia said at the Siggraph conference in Los Angeles that its Grace Hopper superchip, which combines a graphics chip and a processor, will benefit from a new type of memory. The product relies on High Bandwidth Memory 3 (or HBM3e), which can access information at speeds of up to 5 terabytes per second. Nvidia says the superchip, called the GH200, will go into production in the second quarter of 2024.

In addition, Nvidia announced the addition of artificial intelligence capabilities to the Omniverse software service; it is partnering with Hugging Face to provide artificial intelligence training.
