Recently, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology released a list of the first batch of construction results of Shanghai Yuanverse’s major application scenarios, involving 10 scenarios, covering five fields including intelligent manufacturing, medical health, cultural tourism, commercial operations, and classroom education. **This means that in Shanghai, the Metaverse has moved from concept to reality, and the connection between industrial supply and demand has entered into practice. **

In the field of intelligent manufacturing, the "Baosteel Quanzhenyuan Universe Hot Rolling Plant" scene was announced by the hot rolling plant of Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., Shanghai Baoxin Software Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Zhigonghui Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., focusing on "quality to the point" , energy consumption to the coil, management to the person, cost to the piece", the visualization of the entire process flow of the hot rolling factory has been completed, and intelligent equipment and management have been realized;

In the field of medical health, Shanghai Ruijin Hospital proposed the "Yuanverse Smart Hospital Application" scenario, with solutions provided by Shanghai Liankong Network Technology Co., Ltd. and others. This plan uses Metaverse technology to reconstruct and empower physical space, create a smart hospital space, and improve patient experience, doctor perception, and manager control;

In the field of commercial operations, the "MetaCity 1933" scene was announced by Shanghai Laochangfang Creative Industry Management Co., Ltd., and 11 companies including Shanghai Shiji MetaCity Culture Technology Co., Ltd. jointly announced the list, using augmented reality, virtual reality, artificial intelligence and other digital technology means to create a new space for smart tourism immersive experience and activate the vitality of old buildings;

In the field of cultural tourism, Yuyuan Cultural Business Group released the "Great Yuyuan Metaverse Super Scene", which attracted four companies including Baidu and Alipay to work together to provide solutions.

Judging from the announcement of the first batch of results, Shanghai Metaverse's major application scenarios "unveiling the list and taking charge" have fulfilled the promise of "heroes do not ask where they come from". The subjects of the list include relevant enterprises, universities and research institutes engaged in Yuanverse technology innovation and application services. This also reflects the cooperation between different companies to jointly publish the list, and large companies leading small companies to jointly tackle key problems.

Metaverse is one of the four new circuits in Shanghai. According to the "Shanghai Action Plan for Cultivating the New Track of "Yuanverse" (2022-2025)" released in July last year, by 2025, Shanghai will launch 50+ demonstration scenarios and 100+ benchmark products and services. Shanghai Yuanverse The scale of related industries should reach 350 billion yuan, driving the scale of the city's software and information services industry to exceed 1.5 trillion yuan, and the scale of the electronic information manufacturing industry to exceed 550 billion yuan.
