26% of the world’s top 100 websites such as Pinterest and Indeed have blocked GPTBot

According to a report by Webmaster Home on September 29, according to the latest analysis of Originality.ai, an artificial intelligence content checker and plagiarism checking service, at least 26 websites in the top 100 (and 242 in the top 1,000) have Blocked the web crawler GPTBot launched by OpenAI on August 7. This is a 250% increase from last month, when only 69 of the top 1,000 websites blocked GPTBot. More popular websites have decided to block GPTBot, probably because they don't want OpenAI to have access to their data to help train models without any form of compensation.
