Lyn Alden: $100K in Bitcoin would be a disappointment on a bull

Lyn Alden, who made a splash with her book "Broken Money" and is known for her comments on macro-economics, said that she expects Bitcoin to go to 6 digits in the coming period, but the level of 100 thousand dollars will remain a low figure in this trend.

"It's hard to predict the price"

Alden, who participated in the latest program of the famous podcaster Peter McCormack, stated that there is a correlation between the cycles in Bitcoin and global liquidity and used the following statements:

"We see that the direction of Bitcoin is correlated with global liquidity, but that doesn't help us to speculate on the price. In this sense, it is not a metric that helps us. In other words, we cannot make an interpretation within the framework of those known stock-to-flow models."

"$100K would be a disappointment"

Stating that the years 2024 and 2025 look positive in terms of liquidity, Alden said that he expects 6-digit figures, but 100 thousand dollars is not satisfactory in this case:

"2024 and 2025 look positive in terms of liquidity. My basic scenario is that a price of at least $100K could come in... It would be very disappointing if $100,000 was seen and the bull season was over, which the last bull did not satisfy. Therefore, I hope to see a price of 200 thousand dollars for the next 2 and more years. We don't know, but I'd like to see that level."
