OKX, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges, is adding Runecoin to the OKX Jumpstart platform.
According to the statement made by OKX, Runecoin mining will start as of today. Users will be able to mine Runecoin by staking **Bitcoin on the exchange during this process.
Runecoin, which was created using the Runes protocol in Bitcoin and has a total supply of 21 billion, was airdropped to the Ordinals community.
Designed by Casey Rodarmor, who is also the developer of Ordinals, the Runes protocol enables users to create token projects such as Runecoin on the Bitcoin blockchain.
According to a statement made by OKX, 367.5 million tokens can be mined in the Bitcoin staking pool. Each user will be able to stake up to 0.3 Bitcoin per person.
