Trump Speaks, Biden Meme Coin Soars - Coin Newsletter

A meme coin for U.S. President Joe Biden gained value after Donald Trump's remarks.

Former President Donald Trump, who is preparing for the presidential election in November, met with people who have invested in his NFT collection at a dinner event.

One of the attendees of the event in Florida asked Trump a question about a cryptocurrency called "Jeo Boden (BODEN)", saying that it has a market cap of $240 million.

Jeo Boden is a meme coin in which the name of US President Joe Biden is deliberately misspelled.

Asked about it, Trump said, "That's a lot of money for a coin. I didn't like that investment." * he replied by saying.

The price of BODEN rose by up to 25% to as high as $0.45 after Trump made this announcement. Although BODEN is down to $0.35 at the time of writing, it is still in the positive on a daily basis.

Trump also criticized the current cryptocurrency policies of the United States, asking for votes from cryptocurrency supporters. "If you like crypto in any form, if you support crypto, you better vote for Trump," he said, adding:

"If crypto is leaving the U.S. because of the hostility toward crypto, we will stop it. We don't want that. We're going to embrace it, we've got to let them stay here." *
