The Legendary Trader Is Back, The Meme Coin Market Is Moving - Coin Bulletin

The meme coin market has been buoyed by the return of the investor known as "Roaring Kitty" on social media.

Roaring Kitty, whose real name is Keith Gill, made her mark on the markets during the exchange frenzy in 2021 with her WallStreetBets subreddit. During that period, GameStop and AMC shares rose more than tenfold in value.

Mobile trading app Robinhood had halted trading in some stocks due to increased trading volumes at the time, drawing a great reaction from its user base.

The @RoaringKitty account had remained silent since June 2021 until this Sunday. GameStop shares opened the week up more than 100% after Gill's post.

The effects of this were also felt in the breast coin market. According to CoinGecko, Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) gained 7.4% and 7%, respectively, on a daily basis.
