Analyst Added these 3 to the Altcoin Portfolio: Their Potential is High!

Popular crypto analyst Michaël van de Poppe announced that he shifted his focus to altcoins three months ago. Following this, the analyst made some changes to his altcoin portfolio. After the recent crash, the analyst added cryptocurrencies that he believes will provide solid investment returns to his portfolio.

The cryptocurrency market is trying to recover from the crash!

As you follow from Kriptokoin.com, the Bitcoin and altcoin market has been hit hard by recent sales. The correction that affects different markets is due to the Japanese Yen 'carry trade', which has led to the largest drop in Nikkei since Black Monday in 1987. Michaël van de Poppe discusses the crypto market crash that has not been seen since especially FTX. The analyst points out that the continuation of trading firm Jump Trading's sales is due to the Japanese Yen carry-trade. In this context, the analyst makes the following evaluation:

And by doing this, (mostly by doing this in Ethereum (ETH)), otherwise they had to reverse this trade because they would get a margin call or something else. However, since the publication of the [exchange-traded fund (ETF)] listing on the second day, which is 26 or 24 July, they have been continuously selling their ETH positions. Since that date, there has been a continuously accelerating selling pressure over the weekend.

Bittensor (TAO) is at the top of the list

In terms of altcoins that any investor should buy, van de Poppe first chooses Bittensor (TAO). The analyst describes TAO as a 'super strong asset' that is part of the artificial intelligence (AI) sector and has shown a 70% surge from low levels. He also says that there is a potential for five to ten times more returns from here. At the time of writing, TAO was trading at $279. According to recent data, it experienced a 3.5% drop during the day. However, it recorded a 10.6% increase over the week. Additionally, the altcoin gained 12.8% last month.

According to the crypto analyst, Aave (AAVE) is next in line. The analyst says, 'It is experiencing a fairly standard and nice accumulation against Bitcoin. It is making new highs against Tether (USDT). It is consolidating before a major breakout. This is a great signal and has not seen any collapse.' At the time of writing, AAVE was trading at $96.65. The altcoin has been moving sideways in the past 24 hours. However, AAVE has seen a 3.47% decrease in the previous seven days.

Finally, van de Poppe recommends investing in Aevo (AEVO). Aevo is a decentralized exchange. The analyst emphasizes that "when viewed from a completely diluted and technical perspective, it is highly likely that a rising divergence has formed a falling wedge and it is likely to reverse from here." At the time of writing, AEVO's price was at 0.3581 level. This indicates a daily decrease of 3%. However, it recorded an approximately 12% progress in the weekly chart of the altcoin. However, monthly losses are still over 252%.
