The company uses its self-developed Grayscale Crypto Sectors framework to organize the digital asset class and establish a standard. According to this framework, the "Assets Under Consideration" list includes assets that are not currently included in Grayscale investment products but are likely to be included in the future.

Grayscale conducts a comprehensive analysis and examination process when selecting these assets. The assets included in the list are notable due to their market potentials, technological infrastructures, and innovative approaches in the industry.
