Since mid-December, small investors have increased their Bitcoin accumulation rates by 72%, while whales have been creating 9 times more selling pressure in the market by selling 32,509 BTC daily starting from November 2024.
According to data shared by Glassnode, small investors have significantly increased their accumulation rates of Bitcoin (BTC) since mid-December and have been buying an average of 10,627 BTC daily. This rate is 72% higher compared to the daily average purchase rate of the previous year. On the other hand, large investors (≥1K BTC) continue to transfer Bitcoin to exchanges since November 2024 and sell an average of 32,509 BTC daily. This indicates a 9-fold increase in selling pressure compared to the annual average.

According to Glassnode's analysis, small investors had sold when the Bitcoin price surpassed $100,000, but this trend has changed since mid-December. Since then, they have been accumulating 10,627 BTC daily, which is almost twice the average buying rate of the past year. The data indicates that individual investors' interest in Bitcoin has increased.

On the contrary, large investors with more than 1,000 BTC are ###whales###, have been net Bitcoin sellers since November 2024.
