Sam Bankman-Fried caught attention with his first post on X platform after a two-year hiatus, while the FTT token gained over 40% in value.
Cryptocurrency exchange FTX's founder Sam Bankman-Fried made a post on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, for the first time since January 2023. Bankman-Fried's return to social media has sent the price of FTX's exchange token FTT soaring.
According to data from CoinGecko, FTT has gained more than 40% in a short period of time, rising from $1.57 to $2.25**. However, the token's price later dropped to the $1.75 level.
